I KNOW, I KNOW!

Jesus was very clear that knowing what his words are

And having them take affect in our lives

Are two completely different and separate things

Ever played Bible Trivia? (the name itself is an oxymoron).

I've played that game with people who knew a lot of Bible.

They were very proud of the fact that they had extensive knowledge of the contents of the Bible.

Yet, at the same time, they lived backslidden defeated lives.

Why?

Because they heard but did not "do."

They were part of the congregation of those who were ever learning but never coming to the knowledge of the truth.
